Hiro, Claire and Peter appeared outside the Burnt Toast cafe. Immediately, Hiro noted that something was different. He let go of Claire's hand and stepped forward, squinting in the bright Texan sun. The glass windows reflected the yellow rays and he could barely see. The cafe seemed deserted. A welcome breeze blew through the hot air, bringing with it a piece of a newspaper. It was obviously recent as the photographs on the front cover were still shiny. Hiro bent down and picked it up. He gasped in horror as he read the date:

November 30th, 2010

Peter opened his eyes and quickly squinted at the sun. "Christ!" He looked over at Hiro. "What's wrong, Hiro?" Peter looked around to see if something was there but all he saw was the desert.

Hiro couldn't speak. He thought he'd got things right for once. He just shook his head and handed Peter the newspaper.

Claire looked around shocked then looked at Hiro..
"What the hell happened?...."
She picked up Mr.Muggles who was humping Peter's leg.
"Bad boy...."

Peter looked down in disgust at Mr. Muggles, he never had liked dogs that much. He then looked at the piece of paper. "Oh" was all he could say.

Claire glanced at Peter and saw his shocked face then at Hiro..
"Ww..hats going on?"

Peter looked up from the peice of paper then glanced to Hiro. "Well something's gone ...... wrong." He handed the paper over to Claire.

Claire looked down at the paper and her eyes widened..
"2010?!?!"
She exclaimed.

"I'm..sorry Claire," Hiro looked down, ashamed. "I've really messed it up. It's all my fault..."

"It's not all your fault, Hiro. I was teleporting as well. To be honest it was probably my fault seeing as i haven't done it that much. Anyway we need to figure out how we can get back to 2007." Peter looked around them to see if he could see anyone.

A cheeky smile came across Hiro's face. "Or...maybe we should investigate. What's the point of coming to the future if we aren't going to find something to change for the better when we get back?"

'Typical Hiro! Always looking on the bright side of things' thought Peter. "Yeah, i suppose. But we do have to find some way of getting back." An idea came into peter's head, 'Maybe i can find a way to stop myself from exploding....'

Claire walked off, looking around...she didnt know what to say, Peter and Hiro were talking to each other.

"Claire! Don't walk off! We are in the year 2010 not 2007. You can't just go wondering around." Peter glared at Claire, it was unlike him to get angry but he didn't want to lose his new-found neice.

Claire looked down. "Sorry..."
