Peter walked into the Burnt Toast Cafe. He ordered a coffee and then sat down. He looked around him to see if there was anyone else he knew....

Claire walked inside not noticing Peter and sat down next to the window and ordered a vanilla milkshake, smiled politely and looked out of the window.

"Claire!" Peter called, seeing her walk into the Cafe. He got up with his coffe, "Do you mind if i join you?" He smiled at her, it had been a long time since they had spoken.

Hiro teleported to just outside the cafe door. Entering, he noticed Peter standing with a pretty blonde girl he hadn't met before, but guessed it was the cheerleader. He walked over to him. "Hello Peter."

"Oh, sure..yeah!" She smiled watching Peter sit down.

"Hey Hiro, this is Claire, the cheerleader. Claire this is Hiro." He smiled at them both, pleased to see them. "Do you want a drink, hiro?"

She smiled and placed her hand out for Hiro..She smiled. "Umm yeah..Claire Bennet.."

Hiro smiled, took Claire's hand and bowed to her. "I've heard a great deal about you. And no, no drink for me thank you, Peter. It reminds me of...things..."

"Really, what like..?" She moved over to let Hiro sit down.
"Want to sit do, Hiro?"..

"Oh yeah, sorry." Peter put a reassuring hand on Hiro's shoulder. "You did the best you could, Hiro."

He took the chair and put his hands on his knees. "It reminds me of a girl I know. Knew. Only for a few days...but it felt like months..."

She smiled.."Awww sorry...Umm..So what things have you heard about me?"
she looked at Hiro as her coffee arrived.

Peter sighed and sat down between Claire and Hiro. "She was going to die anyway, Hiro. The brain tumor would have killed her, even if Sylar hadn't."

"S..ylar?..what about him. What did he do?..Oh My...Im so sorry Hiro" She placed her hand on his lap.

He looked at her hand on his lap. "He just...got to her." He shrugged. "I've only heard good things about you, Claire." He lowered his voice and whispered to Peter, "Save the cheerleader, save the world."
